The Graft Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep Dealership was
purchased as a sole proprietorship by Donald Graft in 1976 from Joseph Martinsek.
The business operated under the name of
Martinsek Motor Sales featuring Dodge cars and trucks. The original
dealership dates back to the 1940's, at that time handling the Plymouth
brand.
Mr. Martinsek was the owner from 1950 until he
sold the dealership to Mr. Graft in 1976. Dodge was the brand featured
at that time.
In addition to the Dodge brand,
Chrysler-Plymouth was added in 1981, at which time the name was changed
from Martinsek to Graft.
In 1993 the Jeep/Eagle line was added.
At present the franchise includes Chrysler,
Dodge, and Jeep, due to the Plymouth and Eagle brands no longer being
manufactured by DaimlerChrysler Corporation.
At the time of incorporation in 1994 to the
present the owners are Donald and Patricia, and son Douglas Graft.
In addition to being a part owner Douglas is
also the general manager and responsible for the day to day operation of the
business. |
